"Every time your heart is loved, a part of the world is healed. Every time you honor another, a part of you is set free. This is the way of oneness."
— Matt Kahn

These inspiring insights stirred a hornet’s nest in my heart! As I read them again and again, they seem to have new meanings each time!

As I was mulling on what could those multiple meanings be, I stumbled across another insightful article @ http://mypositiveoutlooks.com/do-not-break-a-birds-wings/ which seems to explain each line in the brilliant quote using practical examples relating to those multiple meanings my mind is unable to fathom!!

So, here is how the dots are connected!!!

Every time your heart is loved, a part of the world is healed

Here’s the thing about people with good hearts. They give you excuses when you don’t explain yourself. They accept apologies you don’t give. They see the best in you when you don’t need them to. At your worst, they lift you up, even if it means putting their priorities aside. The word “busy” does not exist in their dictionary. They make time, even when you don’t.

What my understanding is that a good heart always finds the right means to elevate you even though you consciously don’t seem to care about it.

And a good heart does so without expecting anything in return from you, just like the Sun and moon etc which similarly do their selfless work.

While doing so, their efforts never go waste as they receive goodness from universe which reciprocates their good deeds multifold as natural consequences!

Every time you honor another, a part of you is set free

And you wonder why they’re the most sensitive people. You wonder why they’re the most caring people. You wonder why they are willing to give so much of themselves with no expectation in return. You wonder why their existence is not so essential to your well-being. It’s because they don’t make you work hard for the attention they give you.

Again, as your wonderment multiplies once you start acknowledging goodness in others with due respect and gratitude, you’ll be letting go of your negativity and uplifting your vibes.

This in turn leads to domino like effect of you beginning to attract more happiness, peace of mind and prosperity in your life as a result of shift in your vibes.

This is the way of oneness

They accept the love they think they’ve earned and you accepted the love you think you’re entitled to. Let me tell you something. Fear the day when a good heart gives up on you. Our skies don’t become grey out of no where. Our sunshine does not allow the darkness to take over for no reason. A heart does not turn cold unless it’s been treated with coldness for a while.

So, here’s the thing! Its the win — win situations that oneness paves way to!!

Obviously, everything happens for a reason!

And it becomes clearer as to how goodness breeds more goodness, similar to like attracting like as time passes!

And here’s the icing on the cake at the end of the article:

Life is about giving and taking

Don’t break a bird’s wings and then tell it to fly. Don’t break a heart and then tell it to love. Don’t break a soul and then tell it to be happy. Don’t see the worst in a person and expect them to see the best in you. Don’t judge people and expect them to stand by your side. Don’t play with fire and expect to stay perfectly safe.

You cannot expect to give bad and receive good. You cannot expect to give good and receive bad. Does it happen? Yes, but don’t make that an excuse for you to keep doing what you know is wrong. Don’t blame life for what you do. That is so selfish and ignorant on your behalf.
